About Us
SCIENCE FOR THE COMMUNITY AND ENVIRONMENT
Ganey Science is a small, specialty business established in 2017 in New York State (legal name Ganey Development Professionals, LLC), with separate, related companies North Beach Science LLC in California and Ganey Science LLC based in Massachusetts.
Collectively our scientists and consultants work on projects across the U.S. helping communities improve the environment and public health, and to prepare for and recover from natural disasters and climate change. Our core team has worked together for more than a decade for large engineering firms on very large projects. We now bring that expertise to a small business that provides exceptional quality service at reasonable costs.
We work toward cleaner land, water, and air, healthier human environments and ecosystems. We work on restoring ecosystems, on redeveloping contaminated "brownfield" sites, on assisting in the development of clean, renewable energy, and on protecting biodiversity. We provide assistance to developing communities and to conservation organizations. We assist municipal clients with their disaster planning and management of emergency services. We provide public health planning for communities and hospitals. Our personnel have experience working for a wide range of clients nationwide and internationally. We strongly value scientific integrity and the use of high quality scientific data in planning & policy making.
Our team has a very well-rounded scientific background in geology, hydrology, marine science, air quality, public health, and biology, with extensive experience in environmental planning including the NEPA, SEQR, and CEQA environmental planning processes. This is complimented by our team members with expertise in disaster management, emergency services management, government administration and public policy. With extensive project experience in nearly every U.S. state we are able to quickly navigate the local regulatory processes for projects in any location.
